ABOUT

VA Campus Building 209 is a historic rehabilitation of a former medical and housing facility into 54 units of Permanent Supportive Housing housing for Veterans experiencing homelessness under the Proposition HHH initiative. The project is funded by a combination of public and private sources.

The building is located on the beautiful West VA Campus with access to various services and amenities, including clinical and non-clinical services and social opportunities. It includes fully furnished studios and one-bedrooms, including units for persons with mobility, aural, or visual disabilities, and a variety of on-site amenities.

Individualized supportive services focusing on long-term stability and housing retention are provided at no cost to the tenant under Housing First and Harm Reduction principles. The project prioritizes community and tenant safety while bringing together valuable resources that increase the entire community’s quality of life.

Friendship for Affordable Housing served as the project's developer.
